Meet Dr. Ikeda Lockhart

I’ve always been fascinated by people and curious about what drives them, what challenges them, and how they find their way forward when something no longer fits.
My career began in marketing and public relations, helping brands tell their stories in meaningful ways. Over time, I realized I wanted to do more than shape narratives from the outside. I wanted to work directly with people and define success by impact, not just outcomes.
That pull led me into diversity and inclusion work, and eventually to earning a doctorate in business psychology.
I started ILock Consulting to support individuals and leaders through transitions, helping them reconnect with who they are, realign how they show up, and move forward with intention rather than pressure.
When your actions, values, and goals move together, confidence feels grounded, fulfillment follows, and growth no longer feels like a constant push.
That’s the kind of work I’m here to do.
ilock’s Philosophy
Growth is not about doing more or pushing harder.
It begins with understanding yourself and your environment, then intentionally aligning your thoughts, choices, and actions with your goals.
Through this lens, I help clients and organizations create clarity, strengthen leadership, and build cultures that thrive. Alignment is not a quick fix. It’s a shift that transforms how you lead, how you communicate, and how you move through your work and life.
The ILock Alignment Method
At the heart of my approach is the ILock Alignment Method, a framework I developed to guide individuals and teams toward sustainable growth.
It’s built on three pillars:
- Awareness – Identify the patterns, habits, and beliefs that may be holding you back.
- Alignment – Reframe your thoughts and actions to work together with your values and goals.
- Action – Build practical habits that reinforce clarity, confidence, and progress.
This method helps clients move from feeling stuck or uncertain to stepping forward with intention and purpose. It applies whether you’re navigating personal growth, career development, or organizational transformation.
